my family just got a new tundra double cab, and we want to have an available usb port to charge smartphones and play music through the stereo system and control it through the radio, as many other new cars do.

is there a simple available option to buy a part and move a few things to install this option? I'd rather not spend a lot of time and money fitting a double din radio receiver in a toyota.

your truck supports a double din without modifaction provided you buy the required faceplate . some websites like sonic electronix and crutchfield offer those free most of the time . your best bet is to go with an aftermarket radio to get the features u desire . the radio i will link to has almost every option you would need and lots of upgradability (don't know if thats a word) for the future . One of the features that stand out is the HDradio which is 100% better than fm .

that's pretty cool, but it will look kinda weird in a toyota dash, and I'm not ready to take apart the dashboard yet to replace a working sub-par radio with a $330 receiver.
