Laptop issues

Hello, i try to turn on my laptop which is a alienware m11x and it gets to the log on screen where i usually type my password in but then it stops then the screen just flashes on and off and doesnt stop help mee

just turn on your computer, then keep pressing F8 key before windows logo appears, you will see startup menu, select safe mode and see if it works.

nope goes through safe mode and sytem restore and goes to the log on screen and then just lashes on and off like before
