Hello there,

I was looking for some advice on how to improve the performance of gaming on my pc. I would like to play Farcry 3, Skyrim, and be fairly up to date for the next few years. I thinking of buying a graphics card ~ £100 perhaps the Radeon HD 7770 but need some advise to whether this would be worthwhile:

Processor: Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.3GHz
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68 V LE (box says it has 2 x PCI express 2.0 x 16 slots; 2 x PCI express x 1 slots ; 3 x PCI slots for expansion.
Memory : 8GB
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 2000 (GT2)

Apologies if I've left out some vital information.

A 7770 won't be up to date in a few years. Its meant to be a budget card. If you want good performance, get a radeon 7870. It will compliment your cpu nicely. Also you might have to get a new psu.

But the 7770 would be MUCH better than your current HD 2000. Whichever path you choose, you will see a huge improvement.
