Hello everyone.

I am building a new gaming pc, and i fell in love with the monstrosity that is Nvidia's GeForce GTX 690

This card is of course crazy expensive, so i considered stepping it down to the Geforce GTX 670 instead

Since i am not planning on using more than one monitor of average size, and i rarely participate in multiplaying, i was wondering: Is there any reason at all for me to get the 690, or would it just be a complete overkill and waste of money?

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

A GTX 670 should be plenty powerful enough for 1920x1080. If not, you could always SLI it later on.

i have the same opinion than Sakkura, i have a 680 (as when i buy it the 670 wasn't out yet) and i should have as the 670 is enough to play all games...
