My internet is working on both coumputers but i am not able to access computer d

My both computers are connected with a cross wire and internet is working properly on both.
Both firewalls are on off mode.
I have used map network drive to share 'D' drives.
But still unable to access.
Help please.

Be sure they are both in the same workgroup and turn file and printer sharing on in both computers. You then need to set permissions on the drive/folders you want to share.
