nokia 6170 and nokia audio manage pc suite

hiyas,

I have a nokia 6170 connecting to the pc through infra red and using pc
suite the only app i cant use is the one i'd really like to use being the
nokia audio manager. it says no supported phones detected although every
other program works properly. Should the nokia 6170 work with this program
and if so, what could be the problem, or is there a better way to do this
audio (mp3 conversion) to make a ringtone.
