i have purchased my card last august in amazon without any problems, i've been playing for 6 months now, but last night i tried to play bf3 and it goes on the loading screen and suddenly restarts i also tried to other games, the game will work for few seconds and restarts, i have the latest driver from nvidia, i disable the automatic restart but no BSOD, is this a gpu problem or it has something to do with my psu?..

my specs

evga gtx 560 ti
i3-2100
Intel DH61ww
4 gb corsair vengeance
silverstone 500w st50f-es

can someone help me on this?.. thanks..

hi, my gpu temp when not playing is around 29-31, and i think it's fine, right?.. my fan speed is in automatic, and if i play the temp only goes on 70 - 80 which i think is still tolerable for the gpu as it can handle up to 90+?

It actually can handle 107c but i wouldn't go over 80c for precautions.

What are your cpu temps ? It shouldn't be over 80c when on load. If it's in the 70-80c margin, you should increase your airflow and/or change the cpu fan.

It could be a lot of things ...

Do you have another psu that is more powerful that the one you have ? If you do, try it.

Also try the video card in another system to see if it does the same thing. If it does, RMA it.

That's my last word i guess.

The computer may be shutting down because there's too much load on the graphics card.
