GTX-580 SLI or GTX-680

I currently have a GTX-580 SC SLI set-up with a I7-980 OC@4ghz. I am on EVGA's step up program and I am able to trade one of the 580's in for a GTX-680 for only $20 ! Should I do it and lose some performance but get new technology or just stick with what I got. My main concern is NVidia 3d Vision performance on a 27" 3d 192ox1080 monitor. Also... the power savings and scalability favors the GTX-680.
