  1. I believe you can,anyone else's input?
  2. You can crossfire two 7950, it has two pcie 3.0 slots, dual mode at 8x/8x.
But i'd get a card with two slots, a three one might not fit.
  3. ^ Thats what i mean i believe there's room there for 2 3 slot cards but im not 100% positive.
  4. I wouldn't get a triple slot card they're going to be too close to each other, if it fits, there's plenty of cards out there as good with two slots.
  5. You will need one of the following boards as an example. Due to spacing you will not be able to use 3 slot cards in crossfire on a standard atx motherboard.

  6. Well, theres your answer. But if your gaming at 1080p there isn't a real reason why you need 2 7950s unless you want to play on a 120hz tv at max settings above 120fps.
  7. I plan on getting two when this computer starts to get slow (2-5 years) to boost it's gaming performance. Newer games with more eye candy are getting more and more GPU intensive.
  8. Well I believe by the time you get to that point something will surpass the card immensely.

It's true, in two years, there will be much better cards than two 7950 cf, two cards might not cut it by then, not to mention, it's going to be hard to find another 7950 in another two years.
  10. I mean look at it this way 2 generations from the cards now would be what the 5000 series cards pair up a 5970. Even then you would have a hard time comparing it to a 7970 at this point.
  11. Ok, I Guess I'll get a newer card by that time. Thank you for the help :)
