Will this run Crysis 3 on max? Res is 1920 x 1080.

Specs

CPU - AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
GPU - Asus Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

If not what need upgrading?

Currently, no - but don't do anything until the game is out and AMD finishes driver optimizations for the game. The issue right now is bad GPU driver optimization.

Wouldn't worry too much about it though... I can't tell much of a difference at all between high and very high settings.

So it should when the game is released?

I play on my sig rig on high 1080p with 2xSMAA
fps ranges from 45-70
avg of 60

I have no idea, all I can tell you is that right now AMD's drivers are horribly unoptimized for the game. When the game is released, things may get better, or this may be a game that you need to wait for a new generation of video cards if you want to max it out smoothly.

Okay, so should the setup run other games just fine?

well my cpu is bottleknecking my 7870 a fair bit on very high with some eye candy and i have slightly oc but still haha and im getting decent fps so i reckon a 7950 will especially with a good cpu

Yup - there may be some games you need to tone down the AA options, and your CPU might not be great in RTS games, but overall you should be perfectly fine

Will it be better in RTS's if i overclock the CPU?
