Which Graphics card

I have the GeForce6100PM-M2 (V3.0) motherboard and decided to fit a graphics card. Not looking for anything special, something like NVIDIA Palit GeForce GF 210 Graphics Card 1GB PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDMI VGA DVI-I. Would this be compatible? The motherboard spec just say PCI express not PCI express 2. http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=988&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=20&LanID=0

  1. Yes the card would be compatible with your motherboard. How much were you looking to spend.
  2. This one on ebay at £20 seems ok. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NVIDIA-Palit-GeForce-GF-210-Graphics-Card-1GB-PCI-Express-2-0-x16-HDMI-VGA-DVI-I-/360577948268?pt=UK_Computing_Computer_Components_Graphics_Video_TV_Cards_TW&hash=item53f41eda6c

The motherboard has onboard graphics, which is playing up, so I'm thinking that fitting a card will get round the problem
  3. I have a hard time recommending a second hand card. However if you are just after a card for display and nothing else I can see no harm in it. I'm not sure of the value of the card so I don't know on that.
  4. The one on ebay at that price is new
  5. Well then if its new then by all means. I would just register the card just to be sure with the company.
