Will the SAPPHIRE HD 7770 VAPOR-X work in my mac pro 3,1

I have a completely stock Mac Pro 3,1 and I just learned I have to upgrade my graphics card in order to play the new game. Also, WOW FPS have been very low as of late. This card looks like the best bet for the money now-a-days, but after reading issues that some people have had I am looking for a little assurance before I start shelling out the cash. I am not opposed to upgrading other components, but I am not sure how far I am willing to go on a mid 2008 Mac Pro. Any suggestions?

This is the card I am running now:
