Hi is there a noticeable difference between the 1gb and 2gb version of the radeon 7850?

Also am pairing it with a phenom x4 965 be and an Asus 970 mobo that doesn't have pci-E 3, only 2. will that gimp the video card?

Thanks.

If it helps, my monitor max resolution is 1440 x 900.

Hi. You may benefit from 2GB in a few games at 1920 x 1080 or higher at the moment. If don't plan to upgrade to your current monitor, the 1GB version is enough at that resolution and it won't be held back by your motherboard.
