Archived from groups: alt.cellular.nokia.ringtones (More info?)
My new phone (should be here today, yipee) has the ability to play an MP3 as
the ringtone.
I was wondering, technically speaking if I will be in breach of copyrights
if I use a song, which I don't acually own?
Also, should have a public broadcast licence (PBL) because of the fact that
I am playing music that in effect can be heard by the public (in the same
way as businesses need a PBL to play proper music whilst they put you on
hold)?
It was founded by the team which did the 1999 Woodstock Festival Emerging
Artist Stage.
