So I recently bought a new PC with the following specs:

Galaxy 3 Gaming Case With Side Window and Blue LED Fans
Motherboard: Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P
CPU Type: AMD FX Quad Core
CPU Model: AMD Bulldozer FX 4100 3.6ghz Quad Core 8mb Cache
CPU Socket: AMD AM3 / AM3+
CPU Clock Speed: 3.6 Ghz
Memory / Kit Size: 8gb DDR3 1600mhz Crucial Ballistix Sport
Hard Drive Size: 1tb Sata Hard Drive
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 6450 1gb DDR3 with HDMI Hyper Memory Upto 2gb
PSU Size: 500 Watt Branded Power Supply
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit With License / Disc
Rear Panel Connections: 1x DVI Port, 1x Gigabit Network Card, 1x VGA Ports, 2x PS/2 Ports, 4x USB 2.0 ports, Sound Card
Front / Top Case Ports: 2x USB 2.0 Ports, Headphone Jack, Microphone Jack
Features: Front Audio Ports, Front USB Ports, Gigabit Lan, USB 2.0

(I know they're not great but I had a tight budget!) Basically the graphics card really needs an upgrade and I was wondering what graphics cards under £100 would be best for my system.

I'm new to forums so I apologize in advance if I left any information out.

Thanks guys, I was originally looking at the Radeon 7750 would you say the 7770 is a better buy?

Yes its a better buy and value. My advise would be to always get the best you can get with what you can afford and in this case it would be the 7770.

OK thanks will definitely look into getting the 7770. Just one more question, what sort of performance could I expect from this graphics card with my setup in terms of gaming ? i.e. what sort of games would i be able to run at a good frame rate and at what quality.

What games do you play and what resolution do you run at?

Games like Planetside 2 ARMA 2 and Battlefield 3 at 1920x1080 but I don't mind dropping the resolution if i have to.

I would expect high game settings in bf3. ARMA 2 is less graphic intensive so I would say you are just fine there you may be able to max out I'm not sure. And with planetside to you would get pretty decent settings high I would say with all the games you are playing. You may have to turn down things like AA+AF in games but you should be more then okay with a 7770.
