Why i am facing facing problems about graphics

I have Intel Core i3-540 3.06GHZ
4GB ram
Right now I have Nvidia 210 1GB but i cannot play games in high or medium graphics..
and my friend sometime uses my graphics card to play games and he has intel core 2 duo with 2gb RAM and he can play games in medium settings but i have to play in low graphics..
battlefield 2 i have play in low graphics but my friend can play in medium settings and with the same graphics card and core 2 duo
and i have all latest updates of driver, graphics driver, audio driver, lan driver everything.
SO is there any problem with my processor?

  1. There must be a difference in screen resolution of the monitor you have and the one your friend is using.
You must have a lower resolution screen than that of your friend.
  2. Try lowering your resolution, the gt 210 is not a gaming card and will not run games well. You'll have to run at low resolution and lower settings.
  3. Buy something like a 550 Ti (not a GTX 550, the "Ti" is important). It will be a very big upgrade and that video card is very affordable.
  4. MY FRIEND IS PLAYING 800*600 RESOLUTION AND ME ALSO BUT HE'S PLAYING IN MEDIUM AND I HAVE TO PLAY IN LOW...
  5. ok sorry moderator. i am new user.
  6. There are other components too that can interfere with the performance like processor speed, highly fragmented hard drive, etc.
