replacement graphic card for dell inspiron 530

Hello,
not computer minded at all but think the graphics card in my dell inspiron has stopped working. a friend has a Nvidia GeForce 210 1BG DX10-1 they said i could have but was just wondering if its compatible before i take it
any tips would be very helpful and very much appreciated

The GeForce 210 is actually a PCIe 2.0 card. PCIe 2.0 is backwards compatible with PCIe 1.0A (which your Dell has). Yes, it will work.
