Which graphics card / PSU combo should I get?

Hey there.

I started noticing that my graphics card is quickly becoming obsolete, as if it wasn't to begin with...
I have the AMD Radeon HD 6670, and it can't run Crysis 3 at any good settings so I decided I need a new card.

Long story short - I'm looking at two good combos on NewEgg right now.
I'm currently looking at two that fit my price range and my standards:

My current build is:
CPU: AMD FX-4100 3.60Ghz
MoBo: Gigabyte M68MT-S2 with a NVIDIA GeForce 7025 chipset / nForce 630a (southbridge)
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6670
PSU: TurboLink 500W-BK 12v

As you can see, I would need to update my PSU if I update my card... So that's why I'm looking for a combo.

From the two that I linked - what do you think would be the best choice? And if neither, please link me a better combo (preferably under $300).

Thank you.

More about which graphics card combo
  1. What is you max resolution?
  2. I run a 1920 x 1080.
  3. Either way the 7770 out performs the 650Ti I would go with the 7770 combo. And its a little cheaper I vote for the 7770. At 1920x1080 that is a good price/combo.
  4. Then get hd 78702gb or gtx 6602gb + corsair cx 500wpsu
  5. Alright thank you.

IMO I think it probably will run just fine, but do you know how well Crysis 3 would run on this?
  6. Or in tight budget then get hd 7850 2gb + corsair cx 500w

  8. If you could stretch for the 2 gigabyte you could do that but yea for Crysis 3 you would be more suited with a 2 gigabyte mid level card.
  9. And also overclock your cpu with cpu cooler as it can bottleneck with some games due to poor single threated performace of fx4100.
  10. Alright thanks guys. I appreciate it.
I already have a CPU cooler, but thank you for your input anyways.
  11. Not a problem sir.
