I have a parenting need to send a syslog from my Netgear DG834G router to a reciever that is switched on at midnight as that is when the router refreshes and purges the log. The only item in the house that 'should be' on is my smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy SII i9100. So I want to get the router to send the syslog to the phone which has a fixed ip when connected to the router.

Can I get some advice as to what 'app' I can use to recieve the log on the phone and view the log? Only simple sorting is needed. ie which ip was turned on and tried to connect and when.

Many thanks.

Not aware of an app to do this as most would likely dump the log file to the computer and then have the computer send the log to your phone but that defeats the purpose.
