Hey Guys i currently have an Asus M5A88-M mobo and was wondering if this is compatible with a gtx 650ti if so will this card be automatically picked up or will i need to disable the on board graphics?

Many thanks,
Kieran

Yes - that board has a pci-e express slot need for
that card. PCI-e are backwards compatible, so
a PCI-E 3.0 card will work fine on a PCI-E 2.0 slot
which you have on that mobo.

Sometimes the mobo detects which gpu (on board or discrete),
sometimes not. If you go into BIOS (usually the del key during post,
but could be diff for your mobo, check user manual), & disable on board
gfx if you need to and enable pci-e graphics. Sounds more complicated
than it is, and may not be necessary.
