Radeon 7970 price drop?

I'm planning on getting a 7970 ghz edition, and with the new 8000 series being released soon I was wondering if I should hold out for a price drop. I'm new in the PC gaming world so I was wondering how much you think a card like that would drop.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the 8000 series being released soon there was a recent article on toms that said the 700, 8000 series card are being put off till Q4 this year. I would expect there to be a price drop at some point how much I'm not sure the Ghz edition cards I'm sure are very highly sought after cards selling out pretty quickly.
