Resolution too big

Hello, whenever i select the resolution 1920x1080, its always too big, well more like too far to the left, no matter the fiddling, i can't figure it out, so, that's where the genius of the internet come in, i would just like to know because the resolution i have to use is kinda blurry, so if anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated

There should be a under/overscan setting in the nvidia or catalyst control panel for hdmi outputs. (or in the monitors OSD)

my monitor is an lg w2340, my graphics card is an MSI N670 PE 2GD5/OC, and it's connected via a dvi to vga adapter

See if there s an Auto Config button or option on the monitor, hit it. Also check he refresh rate, should be 60.
