Why won't some of my music cd's play on my dvd or xbox player. CD's copied with Eacy CD 5 or CloneCD for some reason won't play on my DVD or xbox players. I'm using standard data CDs. Should I use cd's advertised as music cd-r's?

Those "music CDRs" aren't worth it as far as I'm concerned.

Some of cheap CDR media have problem with some CD player. Some of my cheap CDR does not work in my car stereo. I would suggest you get Fujifilm CDR. It works great.

Good one! I bet you that's what it is. I'm using some really chead CD-R's I purchased from Fry's Electronics some time ago. I'll try your suggestion and will report back. Thanks

Yes, get some good cd's...don't get the music cdr's, as they are not worth a penny's difference if you're using a PC. If you're using one of those crap shelf stereos that came with a "CDR", sometimes that media is all that will work properly. If you still have problems with the nicer media, try keeping your CD's under 74min, even if they are 80minute cd's, and you still have problems, change software, like to nero or something. Some burning programs burn TOC's that aren't so universal. Also, some devices just won't play a lot of CDR's (but most can be defeated in some way or another).

If I don't get my 90THz AMD Quadraplex system soon, I'm afraid I may just combust right here.
