Correct security key is incorrect

I've got a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo pa3553 laptop, which I installed win 7 on, instead of the standard vista. I can connect to most wireless networks, apart from one. I've got an odd problem when trying to connect to a Thomson TG712 router through wireless. I've selected wpa personal, and TKIP and I'm certain the security key I've entered is correct, however it's saying it doesn't match and it refuses to connect at all. Other laptops with the same information entered connect with no problems.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

It's a nice guide, but I already know the security key, and I know it uses WPA and TKIP, however when I enter that info windows says something like: "the information stored on this computer does not match with the requirements for this network" and it doesn't connect at all. However if I enter an incorrect security key, I can establish a limited connection to the network but with no Internet access.
