I have a new computer build with Specs Below:

MSI 760GM-E51 (FX) Motherboard with on board HDMI.
AMD FX-6300 Processor
4X 4GB Kingston HyperX Blu RAM
Windows 7 Pro

I have checked the following.

TV is set to HDMI input.
Cable is working -confirmed with DVD player
Checked settings in the BIOS

I have tried everything that I can think of to get the onboard HDMI to display on the TV but it does not work. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

More about hdmi
  1. Is there more than one hdmi input on your tv?
  2. I had a similar problem with a Samsung TV. All it took was for me to change the Display to the TV in the Display settings. If the you have a Video card try ruining the HDMI cable to the card and not the Motherboard.

No I have an older HP plasma TV it has only one HDMI input. I cannot get the computer to even detect the TV when I have the HDMI plugged in.
