PCI Graphics card

Hello,
My computer has on-board graphics and i keep getting message that says whatever I am installing doesn't recognize graphics card. If I add a pci graphics card is there gonna be a conflict? If there is a conflict, how do I disable on-board graphics card?

Usually your on-board graphics should be disabled automatically if it detected a graphics card. If it doesn't you can disable it manually in the bios.
