So I was thinking of buying a card, but I'm kinda having trouble choosing what is better..

I want a card with the balance of performance and cooling and I know that the MSI Twin Frozr and the Sapphire DUAL X both have reputable performances..

But I really dont know what is better between these two cards

Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 XT Boost Edition --> http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1160&pid=1790&psn&lid=1&leg=0

MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr III OC Edition --> http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N660-TF-2GD5-OC.html

So..

What do you think is better in terms of balance of cooling and performance?

In addition, I would like to ask which one is the more quiet than the other.

-Thank you in Advance!

I don't know if the op cares about power consumption, if he doesn't, the 7870 XT is a much better card than the 660 gtx and the standard 7870, it has more shaders than the standard 7870, it's between a 7870 and the 7950.
Also worth mention, the amd never settle deal, with two games free with the 7870, the games being tomb raider and bioshock infinite.

As a matter of fact, I do care about the consumption, sorry forgot to mention that in my post

How bout cooling?, can the Sapphire DUAL X cool the 7870XT and let it stay at about 50 *C when playing battlefield at High Settings?

Very nice. Just summed it all up. I've been using nVidia for years but the 7870xt is a very good card and with proper OC can run similar to a 7950 with boost. Definitely go with a 7870.
