Is my PSU powerfull enough to run a GTX 660 TI or Radeon HD7950

Hi everybody,

I am looking to upgrade from my integrated card to a single dedicated setup. The two cards I'm currently looking at are the Radeon HD 7950 and the GTX 660 Ti. My problem is that my PSU is a Corsair 430 CX, which does not appear to provide enough power and only has one PCIE connector, where both cards require two.

From what I have found online, opinion seems to be divided as to whether this PSU can handle either of the two cards. Apparently, I could use a molex adapter to provide the extra PCIE connector, however I am still not sure the PSU will be up to the job.

My specs are:

PSU: Corsair 430 CX
CPU: Intel Core i5 3450 3.1 Ghz
RAM: Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance Memory

I am also using a single SATA HD and DVD/RW

Any help appreciated!
