Driver problem with hd7850 2gddr5

when i in stalled the driver for my graphics card a black strip came up around the screen but when i turn the screen resolution down to 1680x1050 from 1920x1080 (which is recommended) it fills the whole screen

what is the native resolution of your monitor? sounds like you might have a 16:10 screen? maybe try 1920x1200.

How do you find the native resolution? the option 1920x1080 is not there the biggest on is 1920x1080 my montior is 29cm high and about 50cm wide its a 23"

i found out it was over/underscan
