Does anyone know if this rumor is true? I have an 80 GB WD, and I'd hate to think it's based on the same technology that is causing so many headches in the new IBM drives.

I can't find a definitive answer to this question.

it is based on the ethier the 120 gxp tech or the 60 gxp texh i think it is parbly the 120 gxp do to the size of it
