Anyone know what's goig on with Digital Networks? I purchased a 5504 a
couple of months ago -- the price was hard to beat what with 40% off and a
$50 rebate!
The problem is, I'd like to buy TWO more; one for myself and one for my
parents -- using the same deal. The promotion is still going, but Digital
Networks has been mysteriously out of them for some time now. I called and
asked about it, and was told they would have more -- but couldn't say when.
My guess is the day after the promotion ends

I bought a 5504 using the deal you mention. I'd read, however, that DNNA
was selling out their stock in preparation for a new line of devices. So
I'd be surprised if DNNA actually made more 5504s. But I could be
wrong.....

So buy Two of the 5508 refurb'd units for the same price as new 5504s.
You're already settling for ReplayTv, it's only a tiny step from there to
settle for a refurb.
