Hi all.
I recently got this computer for christmas http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/154305.htm and want to upgrade the graphics card so I can play some games. I've been recommended to buy the Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 due to my PSU. I have no idea why. Ideally I want to play games like Far Cry 3 and use the card for video editing. I've been advised to upgrade my psu. I'm not pc savvy, I know the basics, so anyone help me on which card to buy an if I need one, what psu to buy. Also does my processor affect the graphics card in any way. I'm so sorry about the questions. I just have no idea. I have a budget of about 80 pound for the graphics card.
Thank you in advance.

It's not advisable to go prying apart a computer you bought and didn't build. You'll void the warranty for sure, and it's extremely difficult to determine what sort of upgrade capability that particular machine has.

hello all, yo nerdy i recommend you to buy the xfx radeon hd 7770, take a look.

http://www.amazon.com/XFX-FX777AZNF4-Edition-1000MHz-Graphics/dp/B007A44T42/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1360599475&sr=8-1&keywords=xfx+7770

you have a good amount of RAM, but im almost sure you must change your PSU to a greater one, dont worry a good one is cheap, take a look on this one

http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-750Watts-Magnetized-ST75F-G-Evolution/dp/B006MBP7DG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1360599553&sr=1-1&keywords=silverstone+gold+750

i read a reply and yeah you will lose your warranty but you will have a better pc to play, with the 7770 you can play at high but not in ultra games like BF3 far cry 3, i can say this because if the memory cache is 1GB.

now talking about your processor, i think you must upgrade it to an intel core i series is dual core and you will need more performance to play games like those ones.

i hope i can help you, have a nice day :)

How many watts is the PSU? I believe the 7770 only requires a 500W PSU but im not quite sure on the specs of the CPU but if you get an expensive GPU you will most likely bottleneck your CPU.
