Using cellhone wifi to connect pc to internet?

Hello,
Ive got a wifi network Im able to access on my mobile phone, and Id like to use my phone as a modem to connect my home pc to it.

Ive got two options, the Nokia Lumia 800 and Ericsson Satio. Both pick up the wifi, and I can browse freely on the phone, but now how do I get that functionality on my desktop Pc?

I dont want to go spend hundreds of Rands on a wifi dongle if the phone can already do it? I just need to get it set up?

Ideally Id have the Satio plugged into the PC permanently, as Im not using it anymore.

If you use your cell phone as a modem/access point you will be able to connect to a GSM/3G network not your home WiFi. A WiFi dongle will allow you to connect to your home WiFi connection over DSL or Cable. There's a difference!
A wireless dongle isn't expensive at all though, you could buy one for as low as $10. There shouldn't be that big of a price difference in SA
