More about compatiable
  1. Yes, it's compatible, pcie 3.0 is backwards compatible with previous pcie.
  2. What ram DDR3 would work best with this motherboard?
  3. any ddr3 RAM would do but I would recommend you get atleast 1600mhz RAM from g.skill, corsair or mushkin
  4. DDR3 2400(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066 this is what it says I dont want to overclock the board so 1600 would be max right? does that seem low?
  5. see I had another board that had 1866 does that determine the speed of data or does it matter?
  6. Get a dual channel kit of 8GB at 1600 mhz at 1.5v, you can overclock the ram for more, but the default is 1600 mhz.
  7. G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C10D-16GTX

    Cas Latency: 10
    Voltage: 1.65V
    Multi-channel Kit: Dual Channel Kit
    Timing: 10-12-12-31
    Model #: F3-2400C10D-16GTX
    Item #: N82E16820231589
Return Policy: Memory Standard Return Policy
  8. For gaming 8GB of ram is plenty, that ram is way expensive, if you want ram with red color for matching the rest : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428
  9. Money is not a issue I planned on putting 16g in now and 16g later my motherboard can hold up to 32g.
  10. If you want to, well it's up to you, just get one with no more than 1.5v.
  11. k also any suggestions where I could get some nice blue or red Led lights?
