Where can I set 3840x2160 in Windows7?

Vmware 9. Windows XP guest can go 3840x2160 directly from windows resolution menu, if I set the virtual hardware to accept 3840x2160 resolution. Windows 7, same virtual hardware, won't give me an option.
Anyone knows where in Windows7 I can set resolutions beyond 2560x1920?

VMware tools are installed. The hardware is identical in both machines. To make sure I even switched the virtual hard drives, and XP still can go 3840x2160 while W7 won't.
