I recently ordered a Vapor X edition of Sapphire's AMD 7970 ghz edition! Still hasn't come in the mail yet, but I am expecting it tomorrow. =D

I am in the process of rebuilding my PC and was wondering which PSU would be enough to Crossfire these down the road.

Currently, I am eying a Silver Certified Corsair HX 1050 watt PSU. However, I have read that Vapor X cards require slightly different pins. Just wondering, will that PSU be able to connect to it, and later on down, Crossfire?

If not, some recommendations would be great.

According to this review you only need about 750w to cfx 7970's

I calculated how much you would need with this

and I was very liberal, a lot of fans, multiple hard drives, 4 sticks of ram, 2 disk drives, high end mobo, and fx 8350. It still only came out to 744w recommended with a minimum of 694w. I would do 800-850w so you have a decent amount of head room for overclocking.
