I am trying to find out exactly what power supplies are needed for a GTX 295 adapter, it has been bought second hand and has no cables with it.

I have looked on ebay but can only find the 4xpin molex to 6xpin power, I need to know how to connect the 8xpin and if anyone knows where to buy all of the cables required.

You'll need a good quality 680W (or above) PSU with a six pin and an 8 pin PCI-E express cable.

You can buy molex to 6 pin adapters and dual six pin to 8 pin adapters but generally speaking if your PSU doesn't have these cables then it's not strong enough to power a card with those requirements.
