670 vs 7970

Hi, got a question.. both of these cards are being sold at the same price.
670 has Windforce 2 cooler (2 fans)
7970 has Windforce 3 cooler (3 fans)
I wanted to ask, which one is worth my money more?
And, which one will perform better at overclocking? I'll be gaming at 144hz monitor so every frame is important.
Should I go for nvidia and enjoy their extra features over AMD like CUDA, or go for AMD and enjoy the new drivers which I heard performing alot better and give you extra FPS?

The 7970 is the more powerful card. If you can get it at the same price as a 670 its the better choice.
