BSOD have new memory do I need to..

recently had the BSOD memory management.....ran memtest86 to identify the culprit and if I had bad dimm slots, it turned out to be one stick of ram so I've RMA'd it. I've read its a good idea to do a clean install of windows once you replace your ram. Just would like to know it the pro's agree.

Nope!

New mobo (yes), new hard drive (maybe)

RAM could care less and Windows could care less about what exact RAM you have. Just plop it in.
