Computer boots screen is black but lit

Hello,

My IBuyPower battalion starts up fine and i can hear it boot up. Windows starts and i can log in by swiping my fingerprint but the moment the computer starts the screen is black. The monitor is lit but the its not showing anything. This is the third time this has happened. The other two times it suddenly started working again. If i hook it up to a monitor via HDMI the other monitor works fine. Any ideas?

Check for a BIOS update and a video driver update. Maybe try running the screen at a lower resolution, see if that helps. Sounds a bit like the backlight or the LCD panel is going bad.
