I have

AMD 2.6Ghz
512 Mb RAM
ATI Radeon 9100

Windows XP
Ati catalyst 4.4
DirectX 9.0b

When I start farcry I can get (and the water is just black polygons) as far
as mobile phone on a crate (about 30 seconds into game, even before first
autosave) and then game freezes (along with the computer). Help! I'm running
out of ideas.
