Hi guys! I need tips and advice on a graphic card that can handle games like Arma 2 Dayz, crysis, battlefield etc(modern games). I got Zotac GTX550 Ti 1GB 192BIT DDR5. and its apparently not enough, well it cant handle Dayz. Maybe tips on CPu's too. Got
AMD PHENOM(tm) II X7 1075t 3ghz. Please help me out.

You mean X6. All drivers updated to the latest?

Would you consider upgrading your video card? If you do, tell us your budget and the rest of your system specs.

you can upgrade to HD7850 or GTX660-but if you are on a good budget then you can upgrade to 7870 b'coz gtx660 and hd7870 prices are nearly the same-but if u are on a slight low budget, then you can get the hd 7850,it is better than gtx 660 and peformance can be tuned by little overlocking.
but the hd 7870 if ovelocked nicely, you can a slice of the performance of HD7970.

As for as the cpu(processor)go for the FX-series.Fx-8120 would be more than enough.
so to conclude:
1)tight buget:-
GPU-hd7850 2gb OC edition(msi)
processor(cpu)-Fx-6120
2)good budget:-
Gpu-HD7870
processor(cpu)-Fx-8120

Personally, i would go with a 7850 or 7870, or if you got enough money go for a 7950. Also check if your PSU can handle whatever card you pick. The HD7000 series are beast overclockers, so pick one with a good cooler ( Sapphire, Gigabyte, MSI etc. )

Just in case if you preffer Nvidia a GTX660 or a 660Ti would give you the similar performance...

@EzioAs and Alvine

My power supply is Nitro 85+ Chieftec 550W-1200W 15cm fan and 3250-W-500W 12cm fan.

GPU - Zotac GTX550 Ti 1GB 192BIT DDR5
CPu - AMD phenom(tm) II X6 1075t 3Ghz
MOBO - MSI Dual DDR3 970A-G45 with Unlock CPU core and OC genie II(Im not sure about the name of MOBO, took what i found on the MOBO)
I have 16GB RAM Genesis HyperX Quad core i think(got 4 of em)

There u have it, noobish I know. Btw I think my MOBO or CPu have dead, but im not sure which one. Because when i try to start my pc the name of the program on my cpu shows up like "MILITARY CLASS 2" quick blu screen and he turns off and starts over. thank you for your help.

my Budget is around $900

Im rly noob at overclocking and would avoid it. The reason my cpu or mobo is dead is because i tried :)  SamTheTruth those names of the graphics cards makes me confused :/  It would be great if you could pick a GPU and CPU thats works good together :)

If you're looking for a new build, here's what I recommend

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($229.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($129.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card ($389.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($70.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $850.94
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
(Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-02-14 18:10 EST-0500)

I left out the RAM, HDD and case because I thought you might want to take them from your older parts. I recommend a new PSU as well because Chieftech is not a good brand.

I did put a 3570K and Z77 board in there even though you said you'd like to avoid overclock but sometime in the future, you might think it's necessary. If you really don't want to OC, get an i5-3470 and an
H77 motherboard (like the ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP or the MSI H77MA-G43)

The TX850 is good as well, just lower efficiency but it shouldn't matter much. With that budget, why are you looking for a cheaper CPU?

OH! let me correct myself, i mean GPU :/  Sorry

Are these parts the right ones? btw I live in Norway, is it possible for Newegg to shipp to norway? if so, how many days/weeks do you think it will take for the parts to get here? :)  thank you for your help!

I don't know if Newegg ships to Norway since I'm not from US as well.

Get the i5-3470 if you're getting an H77 motherboard, it's cheaper. If you can't afford a GTX670, cheaper options are Radeon HD7950, GTX660ti and HD7870 XT. The psu and cooler is right however, if you're not overclocking, you don't need an aftermarket CPU cooler.

CORSAIR TX 750W M MODULAR PSU NEW

CORSAIR TX 750W V2 ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V PSU

these is what i found on norwegian site, do these work ?

February 15, 2013 12:45:41 PM

Yes, of course though for a single GTX670, a good 550W psu will be enough. The TX750 will have enough power for 2 GTX670 or 2 HD7950/7970
February 15, 2013 12:54:49 PM

This is the spec im going for :

PSU - CORSAIR TX 750W V2 ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V PSU
GPU - GIGABYTE RADEON HD7950 3GB PCI-E DVI/HDMI/DP
MOBO - MSI H77MA-G43 H77 S-1155 M-ATX IVY
CPU - INTEL CORE I5 3470S 2.9GHZ 6MB S-1155 IVY

So expensive on this norwegian site, roughly 890dollar- ish

If you think its okay and the parts work good together overall im going for this:)

Don't get the 3470S, it's a low power CPU. Get the normal 3470 or if it's too expensive, look at the i5-3350P.

Other than that, you're good to go.
February 15, 2013 1:26:44 PM

INTEL CORE I5 3470 3.2GHZ 6MB S-1155 IVY

this one then?
