AMD Radeon 7970 HD 3gb Sapphire or NVIDIA Geforce GTX 680?

I am debating upon myself if I should get one or the other, I'm looking for a GPU thats no more than $600 that can run skyrim high texture mods(25+ Graphical Mods at once) so basically, which would be the best? One monitor btw..

If you are playing Skyrim AMD cards will pull ahead not only in performance but also room for you to mod your game more smoothly. I would without a seconds notice say the Vapor-X is the card to get it done.

The 680 is a good card it just isn't a match for the ghz card with skyrim.

note: this all dependant on you running the game on a 1920x1080 display.
  2. Yes thats the res im running it on with my monitor :P

This GPU would fit in this case right? I heard this GPU big if you know what I mean XD

  3. Yea I would say the best overall single card is the ghz solution bar none. Plus you get those 2 free games you can keep or sell if you so choose as well.

Easy that case would house that card with ease and I know that case worse comes to worse take out a drive cage and bam! more room to breath.

My build itself is all AMD so i'd like to stick with AMD myself. Even though staying in the same brand might not make a diff.

  7. Um, I believe they play better within one another I would of preferred a Intel CPU but I would say if you wanted value you aren't in the wrong spot.
