X1650 overclock

Hello, when I try to overclock my x1650Pro even just a little bit, my screen starts to flicker. I don't know does the overclocking make any other difference at all. Does anybody have any idea why my screen flickers?

And I forgot to mention that it flickers only on fullscreen applications.
