Hi,

I have a nice Dell XPS L502X Notebook which has:

Intel Core i7 2630QM, 6GB DDR3 1333MHz, 500GB 7200RPM HDD, Nvidia GT 525M 1GB DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 3000.

I heard that removing the graphics card for this laptop is not possible. I also heard that another way to get another graphics card in the laptop is to use the Mini PCIe slot on the laptop.

So does the Dell XPS L502X have such a slot? My laptop does not have the TV Tuner card or Mobile Broadband Card in it. Also where can i buy graphics cards that can fit in this slot, should this notebook have such a slot?

Thanks.

Unfortunately it doesn't - there is a video chip which is a built into the central processor. And nVidia chip is soldered to the system board.

There is no way to install a video card in this system - the internal PCI Express sockets are for communication cards - they are not video card sockets.

Sorry, bad news.
