Hi,

I've read the 7870 PCS+ review from a couple of days ago and now I'm wondering about something. What is the difference between the HD 7870 PCS+ and the HD 7870 XT? Is it just the name or is there more to it? Which is the fastest of the two and how does the 7870 compare to the HD7950, the regular HD7970, HD7850 and 660(non) ti ?

7870 PCS+ (professional cooling solution) is based on the Pitcairn chip. The 7870 PSC+ XT is based on the Tahiti chip. In reality, the 7870 XT should be called the 7930 because it can be only be crossfired with 79xx series cards. I own this card and it smokes! This card overclocked equals a stock 7950.
