I am building a new computer and im stuck on a GPU. I am eventually going to another one for SLI or Xfire in the future so I need some help choosing.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - EVGA 660 for $230

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - XFX 7870 for $250

They are both somewhat similar in price, but i would like to know what you are suggesting. I am getting the Corsair 750 PSU , i5 - 3570k CPU, Asrock z77 Extreme 6 mobo.... any suggestions guys?

Basically to break it down:

7770 < 650 Ti < 7850 < GTX 660 < 7870 < GTX 660 Ti < 7950 < 670 < 7970 < 680 < 7970GHz

So take that into consideration along with price. You also do not need a 750W power supply unless your planing on running sli or cf :)

gtx 660 would be better if you want phsysx & other advantages but now you get new games free on 7870 its personal choice by the way. The 7870 is 2-5% faster then gtx 660 as a single card

How are the Drivers currently for both cards? I will eventually get another card a month or two after I purchase my computer parts just to be safe because I know both cards are not the best in the world... If I have the extra money, I will get the 670 since I hear its a beast...it all depends on how much money I can save ...lol
