Today I unplugged all of my cables to attach them to another pc. Everything worked fine.
Now that I attached everything back to the original, the monitor simply remains on standby. I can hear windows booting , with the startup sounds and all.. but monitor is on standby.
I have tried changing the VGA cables, they work fine. I have tried attaching the monitor to a different PC, it works fine. I have tried attaching a different monitor to the pc that causes the problem, that monitor remains in standby too.
I am at a loss of thoughts as all I did was change the cables to a different pc, now whatever monitor I attach to it it simply remains in standby .. And apparently they all work fine on other PCs.
Any ideas?
I am running win7 64 bit with an I3-3220 on an Asus P7P55D-e mobo, nvidia gt210.
