I am looking for a piece of software that will let me pause streaming
audio, a la Tivo. For example, I want to be able to pause an internet
radio stream while I take a phone call, and then pickup where I left
off. During commercials, I could then "fast forward", to get caught up.
Does anyone know of any software to do this? All I can find is
software that will record a stream, and then let me listen to it once
the recording is finished.

The Windows RealPlayer has that feature. I haven't tried Linux or Mac
versions.

I use the latest version of the free RealOne Player, version 2.0, to
listen to internet radio. If it has that feature, it is very well
hidden. Could you tell me where to find it?
