I just updated driver on ATI Radeon HD 5450, letting the computer choose the correct driver, it installed and updated perfect, now the scree will not fit the monitor... 100% is too big for my monitor. Any ideas?

Your resolution is set to 800 X 600 or something like that just change it to 1900 X 900 or something like that

it lets me choose 1 of two choices, 1280 x 720 recommended; or 1920 x 1080, my monitor is a 32" sony that is only rated to 720, so I choose recommended. It won't let me make it smaller...

I would choose the highest resolution that your computer allows you to go to. If its 1920x1080 go with that. 1920x1080 will be smaller. 1280x720 is rather large.
